Our Editorial Standards
At Healthycatalogbody, we are committed to delivering accurate, evidence-based information about dermatological body ointments and natural health solutions. Our editorial standards ensure every article meets rigorous criteria for accuracy, transparency, and reader trust.
Our Five Core Principles
These principles guide every piece of content published on our platform, from research selection to final publication.
Scientific Accuracy
All content is based on peer-reviewed research, clinical studies, and established scientific literature. We verify claims against primary sources and consult with qualified experts before publication. No speculation or unsubstantiated claims appear in our articles.
Transparency
We disclose author credentials, potential conflicts of interest, and funding sources. Every article includes citations and links to referenced studies. Readers always know who wrote the article, why, and where the information comes from.
Independence
Our editorial team operates independently from commercial pressures. We do not allow marketing content to influence editorial decisions. Product information is presented objectively, with balanced perspective on benefits and limitations.
Expert Credential
Writers and reviewers possess relevant expertise in dermatology, nutrition, health sciences, or related fields. We verify qualifications and maintain a roster of trusted medical and scientific advisors. Expertise is required, not assumed.
Continuous Review
Articles are updated regularly as new research emerges. We monitor scientific literature for updates that may affect published information. Readers are notified when significant revisions are made, with revision dates clearly visible.
Reader Accountability
We value reader feedback and correction requests. When errors are identified, we correct them promptly and transparently. Our editorial team is accessible for content questions and suggestions about future topics.
Our Fact-Checking Process
Research Compilation
Our writers compile initial research using PubMed, Google Scholar, clinical trial databases, and peer-reviewed journals. All sources are documented with full citations before writing begins.
Expert Review
Completed drafts are reviewed by qualified medical or scientific advisors relevant to the topic. Reviewers verify claims, challenge assertions, and ensure accuracy. Feedback is mandatory before publication.
Editorial Verification
Our editorial team independently verifies key claims by checking original sources. We test links to studies, confirm author credentials, and validate any quoted statistics or findings before final approval.
Publication & Attribution
Articles are published with author name, publication date, and review date visible. All citations are linked. A disclosure statement notes any affiliations or potential conflicts of interest relevant to the content.
Ongoing Monitoring
After publication, we monitor scientific literature and reader feedback. If new evidence contradicts published information or errors are found, we revise immediately and note the correction prominently.

All advisors are required to disclose any commercial relationships that might influence their recommendations.
Corrections & Revisions Policy
How to Report an Error
We welcome corrections and feedback from readers. If you believe an article contains an inaccuracy, please send us an email with:
- The article title and URL
- The specific claim you believe is inaccurate
- Your evidence or source material
- Your name and email address (we may contact you for clarification)
Send corrections to [email protected]. Our editorial team will investigate within 5 business days.
Our Correction Process
Investigation: We verify the reported issue against source material and consult relevant experts if necessary. This typically takes 3–7 days depending on the complexity of the claim.
Resolution: If an error is confirmed, we make the correction immediately. Minor factual updates may be corrected silently if they do not materially alter the article's conclusion. Significant errors are handled transparently.
Transparency: All material corrections appear with a note at the top of the article stating: "This article was updated on [DATE] to correct [DESCRIPTION]." The original text remains in view so readers understand what changed and why.
Types of Changes
Factual Errors
Incorrect data, misquoted studies, or wrong statistics are corrected with a dated editor's note. The correction note explains what was wrong and the correct information.
Scientific Updates
New research that contradicts or refines previous findings is incorporated with an "Updated [DATE]" header. The original article remains readable but updated information is clearly marked.
Minor Revisions
Typos, broken links, formatting fixes, and small wording improvements are corrected without notation unless they affect the article's meaning or accuracy.
Major Revisions
If an article's core claim or conclusion must change significantly, we may rewrite sections substantially. A detailed note explains what changed and why, along with the new publication date.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
We view corrections not as failures but as evidence of our commitment to accuracy. Readers can trust that we will correct errors promptly and transparently. We strive for perfection in our fact-checking process, but we acknowledge that in a fast-moving field like health science, some errors may occur. When they do, we fix them—and we tell you about it.
